I wish I didn’t care
As much as I do
I wish I was a heartless bitch
Just like you

Catching my breath
Times like these it feels like I might float away
I am lighter than air in these moments.
So I fill my lungs full oxygen in order to ground myself-
But I feel my heart lurch and drop to the floor.
If only I could float away-
To keep my heart from dropping.
Untitled
Small steps
Across a walkable plain
That has transformed into a river of devastation.
Spirits roam
Beings of great power
Who take enjoyment in the fire within me.
The river
Will kill the inferno
I will be lost here and forgotten everywhere.
Dark fragments
I throw black stones
At the white flowers
I am the dark fragments
Found in the spaces between stars
I am the moment
When you doubt the existence
Of the universe.
What’s the difference?
The girl with spider webs for hair
And dusty eyelashes
Enjoys occupying the dark corners
Of my mind
I wear my casket clothes
Like a wedding dress
What’s the difference?
I was forced to learn
how to walk
On unstable ground
Now I walk the path
Of stability
They say,
“You’re stronger now”
But I had stepped on glass
That continues to cut me
To this day
Why do killers always look at their hands?
Do they feel regret at the sight?
A reawakening memory?
The hands of a killer are scarred
With the blood of the dead
The beast
With all things considered
To be human was to be weak
Humanity was a frail thing
Like leaving a part of your body
Unarmoured as you entered the war
So she chose to walk the earth as a beast
Dark lonely nights
Are only cured by bright and
Colorful sunrises
“All hope abandon, ye who enter in!”
For Hope
Wears a mask of beauty and grace.
But Hope is a lie
She is what crushes the hearts
Of those who cling to her.
Hope can snap a humans spine
With the mere pressure
of her pinkie finger.
Say goodbye to Hope.
And you will be rewarded
With friendship in Peace.
